Hello Erik, thank you for your time and for your review. I remember, Spanish speaking family. Let me answer you. They are not locals and they clearly don’t know how to fish- to know how to do Big Game fishing you don’t need to be a Dominican, this type of fishing is known all over the world. My personal experience of doing this type of fishing is 10year (5 days a week/11,5 month a year). Capt and mate are more experienced then I. If the problem in our skin color, then its already not about fishing. We wanted to catch wahoo, marlin, but they wouldn’t allow the Capt to troll fast enough to catch those fish bc they wanted to save fuel- speed with which Capt goes though all trips 7-8knot, this is a fine speed to catch wahoo/billfish if you use bait. But I understand what you (your kids) wanted, you have seen the boat Teaseme that was running fast from one corner of water area to another., yes these guys do speedy (very speedy) fishing but their shortest trip coast double from what you payed for a day trip to us. We caught one mahi and they didn’t know to put additional lines in the water to catch the other mahi that we could see in the water. – You was the one who was reeling the fish and you saw that we had to take all lines out bc the fish was a good size. Yes after that mahi another was running but by the time when you was done with reeling and guys gaff the fish another one was gone. Lines were back in the water in a min-two after the fish was in the fish-box. We did one more circle and moved towards lagoon, bc 30 min before the bite you have asked us to take you to the lagoon for teens to swim and chill in the waterOne fish and several people puking from the diesel fumes.- We went out at 8am and by 11:30am we were already entering to the lagoon, yes that morning was low biting, and you did hear how the Captain was talking with others that everyone was searching. Somedays during the spring period we have like this slow morning biting- good pm time biting.. its fishing and biting is an unpredictable factor. Several teens were puking not bc of the diesel fumes, they were on the top floor and from over there not possible to smell diesel fumes, they were puking bc the info that I have send you day before “how to be prepared” was ignored.
